Dear Ladies,
What fun to learn about your upcoming release, It was with pleasure that I learned of your upcoming release THE PARTICULAR CHARM OF MISS JANE AUSTEN! I have already shared the details on Facebook and Twitter which reaches the Board Members and Regional Coordinators of the Jane Austen Society of No. America (JASNA) as well as the general public.
Among my many responsibilities for JASNA, I will be managing a booth for JASNA’s NY Region (JASNA-NY) at the Brooklyn Book Festival (BBF) on Sunday, September 18th (http://www.brooklynbookfestival.org/) — an event which draws more than 30,000 people and presents us with a wonderful opportunity for co-promotion. This will be JASNA-NY’s seventh year at the BBF, a proven venue for successfully promoting our literary society as well as introducing the public to recent and upcoming Austen-related book releases. We would welcome the opportunity to distribute copies of whatever promotional items you would wish to make available.
We would also distribute your promotional materials at our group’s upcoming Fall Regional Meeting (http://www.jasnany.org) earlier that month (September 10th – The Cooper Connection: The Influence of Jane Austen on James Fenimore Cooper).
Perhaps you would agree to donate a copy or two of THE PARTICULAR CHARM OF MISS JANE AUSTEN to JASNA-NY for use as presentation copies at the Brooklyn Book Festival and/or raffles at future JASNA-NY events?
JASNA, and all its regional groups, are not-for-profit organizations with more than 5,000 members.
