AudioBook of Mr Darcy’s Persuasion Out Now!

Hello everyone! Do I start every post with how long it’s been since we last posted? That’s silly. I won’t do it this time. What I will tell you is…

It has been FIVE YEARS since Cass and I published Mr Darcy’s Persuasion  which was one of our funnest collaborations to me because it was a collaboration (between Cass & I) within a collaboration (incorporating the characters and plotlines of both Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion).

And we have exciting news (spoiled by the title of this post)! Mr Darcy’s Persuasion has been brilliantly narrated by Harry Frost and is now available on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

Harry has done an amazing job! We are so happy with the result, and hope you’ll give it a listen! You can find it HERE, along with the print version and the eBook which remains available in Kindle Unlimited.

FREEBIES!

We also have some codes available for a free download of the audio version (US and UK only, we’re afraid) for anyone who’d be happy to read and leave a review for the audio version.

Just comment ‘Yes please!’ below and the first ten to do so will be sent a code! Make sure you redeem ASAP!

Sundry Extras:

What have we been doing the last few years you may ask? Mostly what we always do.

Cass has been writing her wonderful Little Cornish Cove series, heartwarming romances set in a gorgeous Cornish coastal village with a recurring cast of locals to enjoy as the series progresses – available in print, eBook and audio, you can find them here:

New Dreams at Polkerran Point (Book 1)

Escape to Polkerran Point (Book 2)

Christmas at Polkerran Point (Book 3)

A Fresh Start at Polkerran Point (Book 4)

Falling for Polkerran Point (Book 5)

She also has her entire catalogue on cassandragrafton.com.

I have been on a photography bender. As most of you know I’ve never fully chosen between writing and photography, but recently I did a little sojourning to take my photography in a new direction. While I’ll never stop taking clients in one way or another, I’ve started selling fine art prints at adreaphotography.com I’ve been honored with a few awards and am in the middle of a busy season. I am gearing up for my first show in Santa Barbara, Ca. in the Funk Zone (iykyk) and will be dropping a new collection as soon as I have a minute to get them on the site. My work is also on display and will be on sale at Groundless (link will be updated when I have it).

Cass and I still talk whenever we can at odd hours and have little planning sessions for things that won’t be mentioned yet. We hope you enjoy getting update from us here at Tabby Cow. Cass did call me a “bossy cow” over the weekend, so clearly all is normal between us.

Much Love,

Ada

The Countdown Begins with a GIVEAWAY!!

As you probably know (because we pretty much haven’t shut up about it over the last month), the long-awaited sequel to the first book in the Austen Adventures series, The Unexpected Past of Miss Jane Austen, is coming out one month today (7th November 2019… It’s already the 7th somewhere in the world, isn’t it?)

9781788633703_wide

Billed by our publisher, Canelo Escape, as a page-turning story of adventure, friendship and family, the story picks up where the first book in the series, The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen, ends, taking the familiar characters on another exciting escapade, this time into the past.

You can read the blurb to The Unexpected Past of Miss Jane Austen here, and you can find it up for pre-order on the ‘Where to Buy‘ page here.

Read below on how to enter a FREE GIVEAWAY for a paperback of the first book in the series!

bookcoverfrontThe Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen was released in September, and to celebrate the run-up to the release of the sequel, we’re giving away THREE copies of the paperback edition of the book.

The giveaway is free to enter and is open worldwide! All you have to do to enter is leave a comment telling us your favourite Jane Austen novel or adaptation. That’s it! No more, no less!

Entries close at midnight UK time on Sunday, 20th October 2019, and the names of all entrants will be entered in the draw, with three winners selected by an impartial third party.

Winners will be announced here on the Blog and the news will be shared on social media. If a prize is not claimed within seven days of the winners being announced, a further name will be chosen to receive the book.

So what’s it about? Here’s the blurb of this uplifting, comedic tale of time travel and friendship:

Rose Wallace’s world revolves around all things Austen, and with the annual festival in Bath – and the arrival of dishy archaeologist, Dr Aiden Trevellyan– just around the corner, all is well with the world…

But then a mysterious woman who bears more than a passing resemblance to the great author moves in upstairs, and things take a disastrous turn. Rose’s new neighbour is Jane Austen, whose time travel adventure has been sabotaged by a mischievous dog, trapping her in the twenty-first century.

Rose’s life is instantly changed – new home, new job, new friends – but she’s the only one who seems to have noticed! To right the world around her, she will have to do whatever it takes to help Jane get back home to write Rose’s beloved novels. Because a world without Mr Darcy? It’s not worth living in!
